ATC challenge: rood, roze en bruin - red, pink and brown

Sinds kort doe ik mee met het maken van ATC's samen met Canadeze pennevriendinnen. Het thema van februari was rood, roze en een andere kleur. Ik koos voor bruin en werkte met de mooie paddestoelen the Terrific Toadstools. Het duurt altijd wel even voordat het dan weer bij mij is en ik te zien krijg wat anderen ermee gemaakt hebben, altijd leuk om te zien hoe iedereen het thema interpreteert.

 I join some ATC challenges recently with nice penpals in Canada. And the theme of February was red, pink and one other color. I took brown and worked with the Terrific toadstools. It always takes a while till I get the others back and see what the others made with it. It is so nice to see how everybody interprets the challenge.

Faux step card - paddestoelen - toadstools

Ik deed onlangs mee met een swap waar wij een faux step kaart moesten maken. Even gegoogeld en een leuk formaat gevonden in inches. Zo eenvoudig om te maken. En vermits ik onlangs met de mooie paddestoelen speelde, heb ik ook deze ermee gemaakt, deze keer gecombineerd met het mooie DSP uit de Sale-a-bration. Ik was daarna in de ban van dit type kaart dat ik er nog tal van gemaakt heb, je zult er dus de komende tijd nog wel eens zien voorbij komen.

Recently I took part in a swap where we had to make a faux step card. I was working with the toadstools so I took them and the beautiful Sale-a-bration DSP to make it. And as I loved the type of card I made a lot of them with different paper I had, so in the next weeks you will see more of them.

 

Paddestoelen - Toadstools

In de lente catalogus vind je de mooie set Terrific toadstools, ze zijn echt mooi. Er is een pons bij, maar ik koos ervoor om die niet aan te schaffen, het is ook makkelijk de hoedjes en de stammen uit te knippen. Ik heb hier echter ervoor gekozen om ze gewoon te masken en ze naast elkaar te plaatsen en dit allemaal in een bruine tint. En dan met potloden wat extra schakering aangegeven zodat je niet ziet dat de stam over de hoed werd gezet. Een tip die ik op internet had gezien.

In the spring catalogue we have the beautiful set Terrific toadstools, a bundle with a punch, but I did only order the stamp as I though I could cut them out with my scissors. This time I made a card with them with the masking technique and in a brown shade and for the extra shading I used my pencils. And I did it once with the text and one without. I love them.
