Lotus

Deze keer een eenvoudig kaartje waar ik de lotus bloem gestempeld heb op een uitgestanst ronde vorm. Het is heel delicate op die manier. Ik vind het wel apart. En jullie?

This time a simple card where I just stamped the Lotus flower on a round form made with a nice die. It looks very delicate I think, what do you think?

Paars duo - Purple duo

Onlangs kwam Corrie langs om samen te hobbyen en terwijl ik een doosje bekleedde, ging zij ook aan de slag. Zij koos voor het mooie DSP uit de SAB folder, de brayer en wisteria inkt om zo haar eigen mooie DSP te maken. Dit werd dan op Blackberry bliss gekleefd om zo het doosje te bekleden. Een band in hetzelfde kleur met een lintje van wisteria maakten het af. Een klein restje was overgebleven dus dat werd omgetoverd in een mini bijhorend kaartje waar enkel nog een stukje lint, een vlindertje en een tekst aan werden toegevoegd.

Recently Corrie came to craft together. While I finished a box with some flower stamping, she chose the nice DSP from the SAB leaflet, the brayer and wisteria wonder ink to make her own DSP. Then she put everything on the blackberry bliss cardstock to cover the box. A belly band of the same cardstock with a ribbon in Wisteria wonder completed it. As she had a leftover she made a little card in the same colours just adding a piece of ribbon, a butterfly and a text. So lovey.

Workshop resultaten Oostburg - Workshop results Oostburg

Afgelopen zaterdag heb ik in Oostburg een workshop gegeven. Vier creatieve dames kregen wat uitleg over de nieuwe catalogussen en vervolgens kozen zij de kleur om mee te werken voor hun explosiedoosje. Het werden vier heel verschillende, allemaal heel mooi uitgevoerd. Vlinders blijken wel heel populair te zijn. De ene koos voor twee tinten paars, de andere voor twee tinten roze, de ander voor paars in combi met licht blauw (wat ongewoon, maar schitterend geheel) en eentje week totaal af en maakte een liefdesdoosje. De begeleiding was vooral op het maken van het doosje, de uitvoering was eigen creativiteit. Zij hebben het super gedaan. En het negenjarig dochtertje kleurde de stempel set From the herd in en maakte twee mooie kaartjes.

Saturday I organised a workshop in Oostburg. Four creative ladies came and heard about the new catalogues and looked at all the nice stuff. Then they decided the colour and got the explanation how to make the explosion box. I helped with the basis but how they should decorate was their decision and their creativity. Butterflies were favorite. One chose for two shades of purple, another for two shades of pink, another one for an unusual combi purple and blue but that turned out very nice. And one of them made a love box. The daughter of nine coloured the From the herd stamp and made two nice birthday cards for friends. It was a very nice day with a lot of creativity.

Kleuren - Colouring

Een kaartje om iemand op te fleuren, een kaartje om haar dag te kleuren. Ik heb het eenvoudig gehouden met een stukje Design paper, een mooie grote vlinder uit de nieuwe set met stansen, en de tekst heb ik uitgesneden met een stans uit de Mini Treat bag stansenset.

A card to cheer someone up, a card to colour her day. I kept it simple with a piece of Design paper, a big butterfly from the newest dies and for the text I used a die from the Mini treat bag dies.

Doosjes - boxes

Deze keer heb ik twee kleine doosjes gemaakt bijna identiek aan wat Pootles heeft gemaakt. Zij is super in doosjes maken en het is steeds een plezier om haar filmpjes te bekijken. Dus ik kon het niet laten om met hetzelfde design papier ook twee doosjes te maken en hier een klein Nederlands labeltje aan te hangen. Bij de ene alleen een stukje lint erbij, bij de andere een vlinder er bovenop. Eenvoud siert. Vandaag is er een workshop Explosie box in Oostburg, benieuwd? Hou de blog in de gaten.

I made two little boxes almost identical of the boxes of Pootles. I could not resist in making them in the nice design paper. She really makes cute things and her movies are clear to understand. I just added a Dutch sentiment, a piece of ribbon on one of the boxes and a butterfly on the other. 

Ijsvogel - Kingfisher

De sale-a-bration maanden zijn ideaal om leuke stempels, apart papier en andere dingen gratis te verzamelen. Ik koos onder andere deze mooie stempelset uit A Happy thing waar dit ijsvogeltje bij hoort. Ik heb de stempel met markers ingekleurd, vervolgens op aquarel papier afgedrukt en met een penseeltje verder afgewerkt. Dit dan ook weer als een easel kaart tot een geheel omgezet met de Windows stansen. Benieuwd of jullie deze uitwerking mooi vinden.

The sale-a-bration months are ideal to get some nice stamps, special paper and other things. I chose the nice stamp set A happy thing where the kingfisher is on it. I coloured the stamp with the markers and added that on aquarel paper and worked with a paintbrush to colour it further. Then I made an easel card out of it with the windows dies. I love it, curious what you say.

Zeebanket - Sea banket

Vandaag heb ik een waar zeebanket aangericht, nee niet met echte zeevruchten maar een doosje versierd met leuke stempels met een zee thema en binnenin lekkere chocolade. De stempels die ik gebruikte zijn By the tide en By the seashore. De schelpen heb ik aan de buitenkant van het cellofaan gekleefd met dimensionals.

Today I present you a true sea banket. Not a real one with real seafood but a box covered with nice stamps with a sea theme and within the box chocolate. The stamps I used are By the tide and By the seashore. For the shells on the outside I used dimensionals.
