Aquarel kaart - Aquarel card

De leuke watercolor kaartjes van vorig jaar heb ik nog liggen en vind ze ideaal om op te werken. Dus koos ik er deze keer eentje uit om de Moon Lake op te proberen. Het vogeltje met de stiften ingekleurd en vervolgens met water verder afgewerkt en ook de achtergrond gemaakt. Het is anders dan op het normale aquarel papier dat ik heb, maar best geslaagd.

The cute water colour cards from last year are ideal to work with and as I still have a few I chose one to put the Moon lake stamp on it. I coloured the bird with the markers and then worked with water also to make the background. It is different then on the normal aquarel papier I use.

Woohoo!

Deze keer een super leuke uitwerking van From the herd, nee niet van mezelf, maar van Claudia, zij heeft het plaatje schitterend ingekleurd met potloden en dit tot een wel heel fleurig kaartje verwerkt. Dit zorgt in elk geval voor de nodige inspiratie.

This time a super card made with the From the herd, no not from me but from Claudia, she coloured the stamp beautifully with her pencils and I love the way she used the DSP, the decorative dots embossing. It gives one the necessary inspiration.

Zee explosie - Sea explosion

Opnieuw een explosie doosje, deze keer met een zee thema. Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van het mooie foto design papier van SU en dit op de buitenzijde van het doosje verwerkt. Voor de rest heb ik met de stempels uit het set By the tide gewerkt en vooral de kleuren pool party en lost lagoon gebruikt. Op aanraden van mijn echtgenoot een rood accent en dit in de vorm van een labeltje met een anker op de zijkant, een rode schelp bovenaan en binnenin de vis ook rood getempeld. De vis heb ik dan op een wobble gezet zodat hij echt beweegt als je hem aanraakt. Voor de zijkanten aan de binnenzijde heb ik de decoratieve dots gebruikt. Hier kunnen weer de nodige labeltjes in geschoven worden.

This time I made a sea theme explosion box in the colours pool party and lost lagoon. But my husband decided it needed a red touch so I used the red for the shell on the top, the anchor on the side and the fish inside. The fish is put on a wobble so it really moves when you touch it. For the inside I used the decorative dots embossing, the outside is the picture design paper. The stamp set is the By the tide, which I really like. Of course again you can add little labels inside.

Bordering blooms

Deze keer wil ik mijn nieuwste stempel de Bordering Blooms in de picture zetten. Een van de randen is deze fijne takjes, ik heb deze op het turquoise in dezelfde kleur gestempeld als het cardstock en daarna in groen op het wit om het als een echt bloemenrankje te laten verschijnen. Op de tangelo twist kaart heb ik met de groene tint gewerkt dat springt er toch iets meer uit. Met de pictogram punches set heb ik de kleine bloemetjes gestempeld en geponst en deze nog van een klein steentje voorzien. Daar de blauwe bloem zou wegvallen op het blauw heb ik op die kaart gekozen voor een rood accent in de vorm van een vlinder. Beide kaarten hebben dus weer dezelfde opbouw doch een andere uitstraling.

This time I want to put my newest stamp Bordering Blooms in the picture. One of the borders looks like fine leaves. I used it as little branches to put the mini flowers on from the Pictogram punches. One time I stamped colour on colour, on the turquoise, but on the tangelo twist I chose for green and it speaks more. I made the flowers in the same colour as the paper I used but on the blue it was not really visible so there I decided on adding a red accent in the form of a butterfly. Both cards are having the same layout but because of the colour they look different.

Bloemen en vlinders - Flowers en butteflies

Een jarige verrassen met iets wat je zelf hebt gemaakt, is altijd ideaal. Deze keer koos ik voor een setje namelijk twee sets samengevoegd namelijk de bloemen uit Painted petals en de vlinder uit de Butterfly basics en dat zowel op een kaart als op een doosje gebruikt. De lievelingstinten van de dame in kwestie gekozen en het geheel was in een uurtje gemaakt. Die bloemen zijn echt ware kleine schilderijtjes.

To surprise somebody with something you made yourself is always the ideal. I chose two sets this time to work with the flowers are from the painted petals, the butterfly from the Butterfly basics. And I used it for a card and for a box. The colours are the favorite ones from the birthday lady. The flowers are really cute, look just like little paintings.

Happy

Nog even een ballonkaartje, deze keer uitgewerkt als trappenkaart. De zon heb ik gemaakt door een rondje te gebruiken en zo het papier te bedekken, vervolgens met een stukje karton de zonnestralen gesponst. Een eenzame ballon die de zon tegemoet vliegt. Een kaartje om iemands dag op te fleuren, iemand die een lange weg naar goede gezondheid te gaan heeft. De vlaggetjes komen ook uit het zelfde set. De tekst en de vogels zijn van een ander merk.

Another balloon card, this time as step card. The sun is made with e circle to protect the paper, then with a piece of cardstock I sponged the sunshine. A single balloon flying to the sun, enjoying the day, it was a card for someone who has a long way to go to be healthy again. The text and the birds are from another brand.

Ballonnen - Balloons

Een paar jaar terug waren wij in Ottowa en zagen wij ook het ballonfestival, was heel apart al die ballonnen over de stad te zien vliegen, heel vroeg 's ochtends. Of ik hierdoor geïnspireerd was of niet, in elk geval de kamerschermkaarten blijf ik leuk vinden en deze keer heb ik met de ballonnen gewerkt. Eentje werd verhoogd opgekleefd, de andere hebben ik met de masking techniek achter elkaar gestempeld. Je ziet het niet goed doch de lucht is lichtjes blauw gesponst. 

A few years ago we were in Ottowa and saw the balloons festival, it was amazing to see all those balloons in the sky over the city on the early morning. I do not know if that inspired me but I love the screen cards and thought of making one with the balloons. One of them is put on the card with dimensionals and the other ones are behind each other with the masking technique. Not really visible but a bit of blue is sponged on the air.
