Kleurenchallenge geel en staalblauw / Color challenge yellow and blue

Deze maand is de kleurenchallenge geel met staalblauw. Tja, zeker mooi voor verschillende type kaarten, echter ik had weinig tijd en op de valreep kwam ik dan met deze kaart waarbij ik twee blauwe petjes en een gele grote pet heb gemaakt. Tekst ook in het blauw, wat gele spettertjes en de kleuren cardstock natuurlijk ook in die tinten. Ik ben uiteindelijk heel tevreden over het resultaat.

This months challenge is yellow with blue, so I had to think but of course you can make many different cards with these colors. I lacked time so on the last minute I made this one with mini blue hats, and a big yellow one. I then used the same cardstock and I stamped the text in blue and added a bit of little spots in yellow very decent. I love how it turned out.

Kleurenkaartenchallenge Turquoise en geel - Color card challenge turquoise and yellow

De kleurenkaartenchallenge is deze keer eentje met turquoise en geel, pffff niet makkelijk maar ik kwam opeens op het idee om een felle pet met zonnetje erop te maken. Vermits ik weinig turquoise meer had, was het net voor twee petten geschikt en heb ik vervolgens de rand met de inkt gesponst.

The color card challenge is this month yellow and turquoise, not easy as I did not have much turquoise so I chose to make hats out of it and then put a yellow sun on it and as I lacked the paper I just added the color to the border to with some sponging.

Bizon pet - Bizon cap

 Deze keer maakte ik de speciale vouwkaart met voorop wat bomen, en een pet met een bizon en binnenin natuurlijk  mijn geliefde vakantieland, hoewel daar geen bizons meer leven.

This time I made the special fold card with some trees on front and a cap with a bizon and in it my favorite holiday country although they do not have those bizons anymore.

Vaderdag - Father's day

Mannenkaarten maken, is vaak niet eenvoudig, echter de mooie hats off bundel leent zich er wel toe. Dus maakte ik een paar kaarten met een speciale fold en heb daarvoor onder andere de pet gebruikt. Ze kunnen perfect dienst doen als vaderdagskaart of als verjaardagskaart voor een man. Vermits wij in Oostenrijk altijd in de bergen met een pet oplopen, kwam ik op het idee om een berglandschap erachter te stoppen. Dus met paarden en herten, hoewel wij die laatste niet vaak in het echt zien. 

It is not always easy to make male cards but with the hats off bundle it becomes easy as they are versatile. And I needed some male cards also for father's day so I made the special fold I got from my penpal Mari Kishi and worked with the hats. And as we always have such a hat on when we are in Austria, I made a mountain scene behind it with deers and horses, the first we not see so often in reel.

Avontuurkaart - Adventure card

De mooie petjes stans met bijhorende stempel viel mij onmiddellijk in de nieuwe catalogus op dus uiteindelijk ging ik ook overstag en schafte hem ook aan. Ik had een mooie vouwkaart van Mari Kishi mijn Japanse pennenvriendin gekregen dus ik ging aan de slag om dat nu om te zetten met DSP uit de Wild Cats serie in combinatie met deze pet. De petten kan je in elke kleur en met elk embleem maken, hieronder een aantal voorbeelden. 

When I saw the Hats off set in the new catalogue I loved them immediately and thought of male cards. So I went along and bought it and made a card with in my head the example of my Japanese penpal Mari Kishi. I worked with the Wild cats DSP for the background and I also present you some different hats you can make with this set, the possibilities are endlessly.
