Herfstbladeren - Autumn leaves

De fijne bladeren van Royal leaves zijn uitermate geschikt om weer eens aan de slag te gaan met de Triple techniek en door met de daubers ze verschillende tinten te geven, krijg je echt een herfst gevoel.

The very fine detailed Royal laeves are very good for making triple technique cards again and with the daubers I gave them different colors so I get an autumn feeling.

Triple zonnebloemen - Triple sunflowers

Vandaag voor jullie dus een aantal voorbeelden met de triple techniek, een techniek die ik heel apart vind en waarmee je iedere keer een heel andere kaart maakt afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid die je stempelt en natuurlijk het gebruik van de diverse kleuren. Mijn voorkeur gaat nu uit naar de bovenste, maar bij de tweede heb ik dan even een takje met dimensionals toegevoegd, trouwens makkelijk uit te stansen met de bijhorende pons. En bij de onderste heb ik dan weer gekozen voor meer bloemen en vermits ik daar te snel was, had ik het hart vergeten stempelen toen ik alles opgekleefd had, dus wat doe je dan? Neem je kleurpotloden en kleur het hart, geeft weer een iets ander geheel.

Today I show you some examples with my favorite technique the triple layered one. I love it as you play with the number of stamps on it or the different colours and each time you get a different card. I am not suren what is the most beautiful although the top one I adore the most I think. The middle one I added a little leave with dimensionals, and that one is easy to punch out with the leave punch. And the bottom one I was too quick so I forgot the inside of the flower, so I solved it by taking my pencils and colour them in. So you get a different look again.

Kwallen - Jellyfish

Ja, voor sommigen misschien niet zo leuk om tegen te komen deze kwallen, maar voor iemand die van de zee houdt, heeft het volgens mij toch wel zijn charme. En ze lenen zich perfect voor het maken van een kaart met de triple techniek. Een nieuwe datum voor deze techniek is te vinden in de agenda.

Yes, I know some of you do not like jellyfish but people who love the sea will also love those animals. And they are very suitable for making cards with the triple technique.

Vallende bladeren - falling leaves

Het lijkt wel of we vorige week afscheid hebben genomen van de zomer, wat ging de wind te keer, de bladeren lagen overal en deze gaven mij de inspiratie om in het weekend deze kaart te maken. Het was er immers het juiste weer voor hé. Ik speelde met de vintage leaves van SU en liet de blaadjes willekeurig over de randen heen vallen en vermits ik de triple techniek ook nog steeds een mooie manier vindt om kaartjes te maken, heb ik dit met deze bladeren set gecombineerd. Kijk op de agenda voor de datum waarop jij ook deze techniek kan leren.

It looked like we said goodbye to the summer last week, the wind was blowing, the leaves were falling and every where. It gave me inspiration to make this card during the weekend. I played with the vintage leaves and let them fall over the edges and combined it with the triple technique, which I still find very nice for such type of cards.

Genieten ... Enjoying

Jullie weten ondertussen dat ik van Nederlandse teksten hou, dus ik kan het niet laten om deze af en toe op kaarten te gebruiken, ook al heeft Stampin'Up! deze niet. Ik heb hier weer twee triple kaarten voor jullie die ik uitgewerkt heb met de Stippled blossoms set. Twee heel verschillende tinten en met dezelfde tekst zodat je het in elk geval voor een verjaardag kan gebruiken, je laat het gewoon afhangen van de voorkeur van de ontvangen. Een tekst die heel sprekend is, dus geniet ervan.

You all know I adore nice Dutch textes, so I could not resist in using this on two cards, although it is not from Stampin'Up! I made two triple cards in two totally different colours so you can use them for a birthday and take the one in the colour the receiver loves the most. The text says "Take care that every hour of your life is beautiful", a text which is so true and which we all should keep in mind.

Zeepaardjes - seahorses

Ook zonder tekst kan een kaart zijn charme hebben. Ik maakte een tijdje terug deze kaart met de triple techniek. Ik gebruikte hiervoor de kleuren smoky slate en tangelo twist en koos voor de set By the tide om het zeewier en de zeepaardjes te stempelen.

Even without a text a card can be nice. A while ago I made this card with the triple technique. I used the colours smoky slate and tangelo twist and chose the set By the tide for the seagrass and the seahorses.

Blauwe bloesem - blue blossom

Deze keer een blauwe variant met de stippled blossom set, een combi van pool party en lost lagoon, een heel mooie blauwe kleur. Omdat je nooit teveel verjaardagskaarten kan hebben, heb ik dus voor teksten gekozen uit een ouder hostess set en uit de perfectly penned set. Afhankelijk dus van de kleuren combinaties krijg je echt andere kaarten. 

This time a blue version of the stippled blossom set, a combi of pool party and lost lagoon which is a really nice blue color. As one never can have too much birthday cards I used textes which are suitable for that. So depending on the colours you get totally different cards.

Get well

Vandaag opnieuw een paar triple kaarten, deze keer beterschapskaarten in vrolijke gele en oranje kleuren. Voor de eerste kaart heb ik hello honey als cardstock gebruikt, voor de tweede tangelo twist. Daardoor lijken ze toch net iets anders. Bovendien heb ik voor de tweede kaart als basis van de bloem daffodil delight gebruikt in plaats van hello honey waardoor de bloemen dus net iets zonniger lijken. In elk geval zijn beide combinaties heel goed mogelijk en kan je de kaart zo ontwerpen voor het doel dat jij voor ogen hebt.

Today again some triple cards, this time get well cards in cheerful yellow and oranje colours. For the first card I used hello honey as cardstock, for the second one tangelo twist. That is the reason why they look a bit different. And as basis for the flower I used daffodil delight in the second card so that is why it looks a bit brighter and sunnier. In both cases the combinations are very nice and it all depends on the goal you have when you make the card.

Condoleance

Vandaag een condoleance kaart met de stippled blossoms set en gebruik van de triple techniek. De nieuwe paarse kleur blackberry bliss heb ik hier gecombineerd met wisteria wonder om de bloemen op te bouwen. Voor de blaadjes heb ik de nieuwe kleur mossy meadow en pear pizzazz uit de subtiele reeks gebruikt. Zonder de stamp-a-ma-jig is het natuurlijk niet mogelijk om dergelijke kaart te maken. Weldra kunnen wij onze klanten ook de mooie nieuwe kleuren van Stampin'Up! aanbieden, dus nog even geduld.

Today a condoleance card with the stippled blossoms set and I used the triple technique to build up the card. Of course the usage of the stamp-a-ma-jig is mandatory to build up the flowers. I used the new nice purple colour blackberry bliss in combination with wisteria wonder for the flowers and the new colour mossy meadow and pear pizzazz from the subtles to stamp the leaves. Soon our customers can also work with these nice new colours.

Happy day

Het stempelset Betsy's Blossoms is ook ideaal om een kaart te maken met de triple techniek. Ik koos ervoor om deze grote bloem in real red af te drukken en af en toe niet te herinkten waardoor er dan een zachtere bloem tevoorschijn komt. Een paar fijne blaadjes als accent, en een tekst uit het Happy day stempel set maken het kompleet.

The stamp set Betsy's Blossoms is ideal to make a card with the triple technique. I chose the colour real red to stamp the big blossom and some where I did not reink so I got a more subtle flower. A few small leaves and a text from the stamp set Happy day to finish the card.

Workshop triple techniek

Vandaag een leuke workshop georganiseerd voor enthousiaste dames die de triple techniek wilden proberen met de stempels en de inkt van Stampin'Up!. Er was keus genoeg en dat zorgde er wel voor dat de dames even niet wisten wat te kiezen. Doch al snel ging iemand aan de slag met de Betsy's Blossoms set om een vrolijke rode kaart met zwart vogeltje te maken. De sneeuwsterren mochten niet ontbreken, dus ook met de Snowflake soiree ontstonden een paar prachtige creaties. Zelfs een leuk kaartje met hartjes met behulp van de Hearts a flutter set ontstond in deze techniek. En vermits het herfst is en wij allemaal de bladeren zien vallen, ging iemand aan de slag met de Gently falling set, terwijl een ander ging oefenen met de Stippled blossoms. Beide sets leveren een mooi resultaat, doch een Stamp-a-magic is onontbeerlijk om de contouren goed te krijgen. Deze twee-stap methode is heel leuk om te doen en zorgt voor een heel aparte kaart. Iedereen ging tevreden naar huis met twee mooie kaarten.

  

  

  

  

  

Today I organised a workshop to explain the Triple technique to some enthousiastic ladies. They all wanted to try it and had some difficulties to chose between all the nice stamp sets from Stampin'Up!. One person started with the Betsy's Blossoms set in deep red colour with a black bird as accent. Of course the snow flakes from the Snowflake soiree set was a favorite too. Even a nice card with hearts was made with the Hearts a flutter set. And as we are now seeing the leaves falling, an other one made a very nice autumn card with the Gently Falling set. And of course the Stippled blossoms is tempting and one needs a stamp-a-magic to make this card in a correct way. The two step method which is used for the Stippled blossoms and the Gently falling card gives your card an extra dimension. Satisfied everybody went home with two beautiful cards.

Vallende bladeren - falling leaven

Morgen staat er een workshop gepland om de triple techniek uit de doeken te doen. Ik hier hiervoor een paar bloemen voorbeelden alsook een paar kerst voorbeelden. Doch een van de sets die ik met 25% korting had aangeschaft, is Gently Falling namelijk leuke bladeren die je kunt kleuren naar wens in lente of herfstkleuren. Ik koos even voor groen en oranje en maakte hier onderstaande triple kaart mee. De tekst komt uit het stempel set Happy day en vond ik er wel bij passen. Benieuwd wat de dames morgen verzinnen.

Tomorrow I have a workshop where I will explain the triple technique. I have some examples with flowers and with a Christmas theme. As I ordered the Gently falling recently with 25% discount, I tried to make a colourful autumn card with it. Those leaves are beautiful to play with in any colour you want, spring colours or autumn, just what you want. The text comes from the Happy day stamp set. Curious what the ladies will make tomorrow.

Joyful tidings

De snowflake soiree set is een prachtig set om de triple techniek mee uit te voeren. Meer dan een paar sterren en een leuke tekst uit de Christmas messages is niet nodig om een elegante kaart tevoorschijn te toveren. Een voorbeeld voor de dames die aanstaande vrijdag naar de workshop komen waar alles in het teken van de triple techniek staat.

The snowflake soiree set is a beautiful set to use for the triple technique. Just these stars together with a nice text from the Christmas messages set are the only ingredients for a special Christmas card. Again an example for the ladies who will attend the workshop this Friday where we will work on the triple technique.
