Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 30)

Vandaag weer eens een iets traditionelere kerstkaart met een retired set die ik in de uitverkoop kocht.

Today a typical traditional Christmas card with a retired set I bought in the sales.
 

Fietsen - Biking

Willen jullie met mij een fietstochtje maken? Ik heb deze kaarten gemaakt met de Paper pumpkin van juni. Ik koos ervoor om de basiskaart in twee stukken te snijden en deze op ander cardstock te plaatsen. En ik heb dan de derde fiets op een vierkante kaart geplaatst. Ik heb het frame wel wat extra glitter gegeven met de nieuwste glitter pen Golden flow.

Do you want to go for a bike ride with me? I cut the basic card in two parts and put it on other cardstock and then I made a square card too with the bike piece. I gave the bike a bit of glimmer with the new brush pen golden glow. 

Deconstructed ATC

Vandaag weer eens een paar ATC kaartjes, deze keer heel aparte, geen gemeenschappelijk thema. Nee deze keer kregen wij pakketjes met spulletjes en was het de bedoeling daar een kaartje mee te maken, later zou de eigenaar van het pakketje ook tonen wat zij ermee bedoeld had, dus ik weet zeker dat iedereen er heel andere uitwerkingen mee heeft gemaakt. Ik vond het moeilijk en koos gewoon voor ballonnen. Ik heb de pakketjes bijna altijd volledig gebruikt,  alleen het pakketje met de blauwe vlinders had ook blauw tissue papier en ik kon dat er niet nog eens bij verzinnen, dus heb ik dat gebruikt in het kaartje met het bootje om een soort van zee tafereeltje mee te creëren.

Today I show you some special ATCs, no theme this time as it were deconstructed ones. We got packages and needed to make our own twist with the things. I joined but could not think what to send so I chose balloons. I love the things I received, and I used mostly everything from the packages. Only the blue tissue paper that was with the butterflies I could not think what to do with it so I used it to created a kind of sea with it with the boat as there I lacked some extra blues.

 

Koalas - Koalas

Ik hou ervan om stempels meermaals te stempelen, vervolgens in te kleuren en dan uit te knippen. Heel ontspannend. Pas naderhand ga ik dan bedenken welke kaarten ik ermee ga maken. Dus ik had een paar van deze leuke koala's hier liggen en dacht de speciale vouwkaart met een verrassend effect kan ik ook wel weer eens maken. Dus zo gezegd, zo gedaan, en hoewel je in dichte toestand enkel maar 1 koala ziet, als je de kaart openvouwt, verschijnen er opeens nog een paar. Ik vind hem heel leuk geworden. 

I love to stamp a motif more times and then color them, cut them out and later on I start thinking what I will make with them. So I had these koalas on my table and thought I could make the funfold with the special effect. Closed you see only the message and one koala, but if you open it you see two more of them. I combined DSP and stamping some greenery.

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 29)

Even wat afkoeling voor jullie met deze pinguïns. Ik heb een speciale cube popup kaart gemaakt en heb de vlakjes achter de pinguïns voorzien van wat sneeuwsterren. De kaart kan je naar een liefhebber van pinguïns sturen, of toch als kerstkaart, waarom ook niet.

Today I made this cute cube popup card to cool you down. A bunch of penguins which are playing in the snow. You can use the card for a penguin lover or as a Christmas card.

Insecten - Bugs ATC

 Ik neem tegenwoordig elke maand deel aan een uitwisseling van ATC kaartjes met een speciaal thema. Een tijdje terug was het thema insecten, en vermits diegene die het organiseert houdt van bijtjes, koos ik voor bijtjes en honinggraat (kaartje op de tweede rij, tweede van links). Het is altijd leuk om te zien wat anderen met het thema verzinnen, zo krijg je steeds weer inspiratie ook.

Each month I am taken part in ATC exchange with Canadian friends. Each month there is a different theme, and once we had the theme bugs. The lady who organizes it loves bees, so I made a bee card (second row from below, second from the left). It is always nice to see how others interpret the theme and it gives a lot of inspiration.

Nog een huwelijkskaart - another wedding card

 En dan had ik nog een huwelijkskaartje nodig, deze keer voor een koppel in Oostenrijk, verder wist ik weinig van hen, maar een ding weet ik wel, de bergen erop en dan zal het wel perfect passen. Ik ben benieuwd naar de reactie.

And I needed another wedding card for a couple in Austria, as I did not know much about them I just ook the mountains and a red car, I think that will fit well. I am curious to their reaction of course.

Motor huwelijk - Motor wedding

Een ex-collega trad in het huwelijk en zij en haar partner zijn fervente motor rijders dus ik dacht dan moet ik dus echt een toepasselijke huwelijkskaart maken. En haar motor is blauw en de zijne zwart dus ook die keuze was snel gemaakt. Dan nog even nadenken over het landschap en vermits zij ook wel eens naar Ierland gaan, dacht ik ach bergen passen wel. Ze vond de kaart super mooi.

An ex-colleague was getting wedded and as she and her partner love to go for a motorbike ride, I made them a card with that theme. Hers is blue and his is black so that fitted too. And as they love to go to Ireland too I thought some mountains would fit oo. She loved the card.

 

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 28)

Deze keer heb ik voor jullie wat kleine ATC kaartjes die het onderdeel vormden van een internationale uitwisseling met Canadese pennenvriendinnen. Het thema was containers, dus ik koos ervoor om de snoeppot te gebruiken, maar in plaats van snoep heb ik er kleine winterse tafereeltjes n gemaakt. Ik blijf ze leuk vinden.

This time I have some small ATC cards which I made for an international exchange with Canadese penpals. The thema was containers, and I used the candy jars but I made little wintery scenes in it. I still love them.

Olifantjes - Elephants

Wat is de Safari smiles leuk, deze leuke olifantjes wandelen er heerlijk op los. Ik heb ze ingekleurd met potloden.

I love the safari smiles set, those cute elephants are walking in the beautiful nature. I colored them with pencils.

 

Takkie

Natuurlijk mocht Takkie niet ontbreken, dit hondje is ook al zo bekend hier in Nederland van de reclame van de Hema en hij is zo leuk. Ook weer een zwart wit kaartje met als extra kleur rood.

 And of course Takkie was needed on a card. This little dog also know from the publicity of Hema is so cute. Again a black and white card with one extra color red.

Sippie

Deze keer heb ik een zwart wit kaartje met slechts 1 extra kleur nl het rood gemaakt met de Hema kat sippie. Het is vooral hier in Nederland best een leuk en bekend beestje.

This time I made a black and white card with just one extra color red with the Hema cat sippie. He is mainly know in the Netherlands.

Paper pumpkin juni Bike and blooms

Deze eenvoudige fiets zat in de paper pumpkin pakket van juni. Ik loop af en toe wat achter met deze pakketten hoor, dus hopelijk vinden jullie dat niet erg en kan ik jullie toch nog inspireren.

 This simple bike was in the paper pumpkin set of June, I know I am a bit late with showing examples, but I hope you do not mind and get some inspiration.

En dan hier de laatste in de reeks van diamond painting kaartjes, eentje met een knipoog naar Canada waar de kardinaal vogel echt een symbool is dat bij kerst hoort.

And here the last one of the row of diamond painting cards, this time with the cardinal bird. It is very famous in Canada and you see it a lot on their Christmas cards. 

Ideas Bloghop Holidays - Waterside retreat

Koe met een boodschap - cow with a message

En natuurlijk kon ik het niet laten om ook dit koetje nog even te gebruiken op een speciale gevouwen kaart. Gewoon om iemand een kleine boodschap te sturen. Ik gebruikte ook weer het mooie Fern and flora DSP en een takje uit de suite.

And because I could not resist and still had a little cow here on my table, I used the special folded card again and added this cow to it. Just to send someone a little message. And of course I used the cute DSP and a leaf from that fern and flora suite.

Geslaagd - Graduated

Ja het is stilaan de tijd om te vieren van alle geslaagden. Dus een geslaagd kaartje mag dan niet ontbreken. Deze had ik ook mee naar Zaamslag en ook deze werd verkocht, dus blij dat ik dit nog snel had gemaakt.

Soon we have all those who graduate so it is nice to make a card for them. I made those for the market and it was sold too, so happy I gave it a go.

Een kleine boodschap - a little note

Dit lieve kleine koalaatje verstuurt even een kleine boodschap. Gewoon even omdat het kan, een aparte gevouwen kaart ook weer.

This cute little koala just sends a little note. Just because it is possible, a special folded card again also with the nice DSP fern and flora.
 

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 26)

Ook pakjes horen bij kerstmis dus ik heb deze voor jullie gemaakt met een allemaal steentjes, gewoon omdat het kan.

 Gifts are also important with Christmas so I made one with a lot of little stones, just because I love it.

Neverending

Wij hebben ondertussen ook de mooie rode paper pumpkin dozen van Stampin!Up. Dozen waar alles in zit om leuke kaarten mee te maken, en als je wat creatief met het papier omgaat kan je er naast de traditionele kaarten ook andere type kaarten mee maken. Ik heb hier een neverending kaart voor jullie, slechts aangevuld met wat extra papier van de Waterside retreat suite.

Since a couple of months we have the cute red paper pumpkin boxes of Stampin!Up. Boxes where you have everything in it what you need to make 9 nice cards. And if you are creative you can make other type of cards with it too of course. I made a never-ending card this time, I just added a bit of paper from the Waterside retreat suite. I love it. And perhaps I will try to make more of these type of cards just for myself to keep as reminder of what nice things we have.

Slakkenverjaardag - snail birthday

Vandaag heb ik nog eens een cube popup kaart, deze keer een grotere, oa met de slakken uit de Wild bunch en het mooie DSP uit de Fern and flora suite. Ik vind ook dit geheel weer heel geslaagd. En hoewel ik niet van slakken in het echt hou, vind ik dit wel heel leuk. De vlinders zijn met de nieuwste glitterpennen ingekleurd.

Today I made another cube popup card, this time a bigger one and I used the snails from the Wild bunch set and combined it with the fern and flora DSP, which is so cute too. Some butterflies on it too, which I colored with the new glitter pens.

Slakken - snails

Ik hou echt niet van slakken en gelukkig zie ik er nooit gelijk zoveel als op mijn kaartje, maar ik kon het niet laten om er even een soort van slakkenrace van te maken. Het is een vierkante popup kaart geworden.

I do not love snails in real life and certainly never see three at once, but I could not resist in making a card with three of them like a little snail race, hope you like it.

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 25)

Deze keer eens een ander type kerstkaartje, eentje met een roodborstje dat ik middels diamond painting heb gemaakt. Ik hou wel van verschillende stijlen van kaartjes maken en jullie?

Today I have a different kind of Christmas card, one with a Red Robin and I made it with diamond painting. I love to experiment with different techniques.

Koetjes - cows

Deze maand kan je de mooie set Wild bunch voor 6 euro ontvangen als je een bestelling van 90 euro plaatst. Hij is zo leuk met diertjes die best een beetje levensecht eruit zien. Vandaag heb ik als eerste een kaartje met een paar koetjes voor jullie. De vlindertjes zitten hier ook bij. Ik heb de koetjes met potloden ingekleurd. Het is een cube popup kaart en deze kan je plat opsturen. De ontvanger is altijd heel blij met een dergelijke kaart die rechtop kan staan.

This month you can get the set Wild bunch for only 6 euro, when you order other products about 90 euro. I love the set as it has cute animals and today I show you the cows. I made a cube popup card and I know the receiver loves to have a card which stands on its own. You can send it flat. The cows are colored with pencils.

Vaderdag - Father's day

Vandaag is het vaderdag in België dus ik maakte een eenvoudig kaartje met de Paper pumpkin Lakeside. In een handomdraai heb je een mooi kaartje, en als je geluk hebt, houdt jouw vader ook van water dus dan is het helemaal ideaal. Let op paper pumpkins kan je je enkel op abonneren en eens de periode voorbij is, kan je deze set niet meer aanschaffen. Gelukkig is er wel een bundel die in die richting neigt, dus mocht je toch een dergelijk tafereel willen ontwerpen kan het.

 And I made a Father's Day card with the Paper pumpkin Lakeside. Really it is so easy to create the cards, and you still can give it your own spin. You need to take a subscription and you can not buy it later on when that month is gone. But luckily we now have a bundle which has the same paper so you can still make such scenes.

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 24)

Een speciaal kaartje met een doorkijkje. Niet echt een van mijn super kaarten, maar het was het eerste probeersel met het DSP en dit type kaartje dat ik op een FB groep voorbij zag komen.

 A special card with a look through, not one of my best cards but I had to try a special fold from a FB group which I liked.

Swap Sketch

Deze maand deed ik mee met een stapje, deze keer op basis van een sketch. Iets wat ik altijd heel moeilijk vind maar het toch een kans wou geven en waar ik best tevreden over ben. Ik heb zoveel DSP liggen dat ik daarmee aan de slag ging. Ik vind er steeds meer plezier in om te werken met papier.

 This month there was a dutch swap with as theme a sketch and wow I know I do not like it as I find it difficult but wanted to give it a go. And as I have so much nice DSP I thought that would be a good way to use it and work with it. I must say I am very happy with the result.

Winkelwagentje - shopping card

Dit kaartje met de winkelwagen en tal van flessen maakte ik voor een collega die in april jarig was. Hij was vooral voor haar heel toepasselijk en ze vond hem heel goed gelukt.

This card with the shopping card and a lot of bottles I made for a colleague who had her birthday in April. It was very typical for her and she loved it.
 

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 23)

Ik weet het jullie willen geen kerstkaarten als stilaan de temperaturen stijgen maar ja ik doe nu eenmaal mee met elke donderdag een kerstkaart dus het hoort er voor mij ondertussen bij. Ik heb hiervoor eens een oudere set gebruikt.

I know you do not want to see Christmas cards when the temperatures are rising but I am taking part on group where we put a Christmas card each Thursday and in that way you have a lot of them at the end of the year.

Hortensia

Met deze hortensia die ik inkleurde met mijn potloden wil ik jullie vandaag veel liefs toewensen.

With this hortensia which I colored with my pencils I want to wish you a lot of love.

Magnolia

Af en toe heb je kaartjes nodig, die niemand wil maken, maar die wel een hart onder de riem zijn voor diegenen die net iemand verloren hebben. Ik kleurde deze magnolia met potloden in en maakte er een condoleance kaart van.

I know nobody likes to make those but you need them sometimes and are appreciated by those who lost a loved one. I made this condoleance card with coloring a very nice magnolia with my Derwent pencils.

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 22)

Vandaag heeft het elfje zijn vriendinnetje mee, ook zij is een zoete kauw en heeft een heerlijke bonbon mee om van te genieten. Ze zijn zo lief samen.

 Today this elf has his girl friend with him, she also loves sweets, has a bonbon with her to enjoy. They are really cute together.

Rode bloemen - red flowers

Ja ik weet het deze bloemen zie je normaal gezien in het geel of het paars, ik heb deze echter deze keer in calypso Coral ingekleurd. Ik vind het ook iets hebben. Het is een eenvoudige verjaardagskaart.

Yes I know this flower is normally yellow or purple, but I colored it with the calypso coral blends, and I must say not bad at all. It is a simple birthday card.
