Deze keer een eenvoudig kaartje waar ik de lotus bloem gestempeld heb op een uitgestanst ronde vorm. Het is heel delicate op die manier. Ik vind het wel apart. En jullie?

This time a simple card where I just stamped the Lotus flower on a round form made with a nice die. It looks very delicate I think, what do you think?

Workshop resultaten Oostburg - Workshop results Oostburg

Afgelopen zaterdag heb ik in Oostburg een workshop gegeven. Vier creatieve dames kregen wat uitleg over de nieuwe catalogussen en vervolgens kozen zij de kleur om mee te werken voor hun explosiedoosje. Het werden vier heel verschillende, allemaal heel mooi uitgevoerd. Vlinders blijken wel heel populair te zijn. De ene koos voor twee tinten paars, de andere voor twee tinten roze, de ander voor paars in combi met licht blauw (wat ongewoon, maar schitterend geheel) en eentje week totaal af en maakte een liefdesdoosje. De begeleiding was vooral op het maken van het doosje, de uitvoering was eigen creativiteit. Zij hebben het super gedaan. En het negenjarig dochtertje kleurde de stempel set From the herd in en maakte twee mooie kaartjes.

Saturday I organised a workshop in Oostburg. Four creative ladies came and heard about the new catalogues and looked at all the nice stuff. Then they decided the colour and got the explanation how to make the explosion box. I helped with the basis but how they should decorate was their decision and their creativity. Butterflies were favorite. One chose for two shades of purple, another for two shades of pink, another one for an unusual combi purple and blue but that turned out very nice. And one of them made a love box. The daughter of nine coloured the From the herd stamp and made two nice birthday cards for friends. It was a very nice day with a lot of creativity.

Vandaag is het zo ver, de SAB Workshop dag in Philippine vindt plaats. Een dag die Matty, Magda en ik gaan vullen met leuke dingen die wij hebben gemaakt met de spullen uit de nieuwe catalogus in combinatie natuurlijk met de jaarcatalogus. Dit alles om jullie de diversiteit te laten zien, de mogelijkheden te laten ontdekken en jullie een heel gezellige ochtend of middag te bezorgen. Jullie gaan met een leuke kaart naar huis, nieuwe indrukken die jullie hebben opgedaan en natuurlijk de nodige inspiratie voor eigen creaties. Wij hebben er zin in, jullie ook? Hieronder ook nog een aantal collages van de creaties die jullie vandaag te zien zullen krijgen. En natuurlijk de heerlijke traktatie van de hostess mag niet ontbreken.

Today we are having a big SAB workshop day in Philippine together with Matty and Magda. Those two hostesses and myself will fill this day with nice projects we want to show you so you have inspiration what you can do with all the new stuff which is in the spring catalogue. All participants will go home with a very nice card and of course with a little surprise, of course the necessary energy to create nice things with their products. We are looking forward to it, we hope the participants too. Here you see some ideas of the things they will see today, the little treat they get and the little cupcakes the hostess has baked.

Explosie box - Explosion box

Als voorbereiding voor een workshop in februari heb ik een explosie box gemaakt. Ik kreeg een duidelijke uitleg van Brigitte Sing hoe zij haar box had gemaakt en ging dus aan de slag. Het was even puzzelen welke kleuren ik wou gebruiken. Ik heb uiteindelijk voor crumb cake en cherry cobbler gekozen en een stukje DSP uit de Trim the Tree reeks. De labeltjes werden gemaakt met de scalloped tag topper punch. En de vlinder komt uit een ouder set dat ik op aquarelpapier afdrukte en met een penseeltje verder inkleurde. De teksten komen van de nieuwste voorjaarsset en de lotus bloesem is een set dat gratis te verkrijgen is tijdens de SAB periode die op 6 januari start.

As preparation for a workshop in February I made an explosion box after I had seen a nice explanation of Brigitte Sing. I had to try it and chose the colours crumb cake and cherry cobbler and worked with older and newer sets. The lotus blossom comes from one of the free SAB products which will be available starting from 6th January. The textes are from new stamping sets and the tags are made with the scalloped tag topper punch. The DSP is from the Trim the tree. The butterfly comes from an older set and I worked on aquarel paper and I coloured it with a pinsel.
