Trouwkaart - wedding card (neverending)

Toen ik afgelopen maandag de neverending kaarten aan een collega toonde, was zij gelijk in de wolken en vroeg of ik met spoed een huwelijkskaart kon maken. Ja dat kon ik wel. Ik kreeg te horen dat de bruid van rood en felle kleurtjes hield, en dat de huwelijkskaart sepia en bruine tinten had. Tja, een moeilijke klus werd gestart die avond, eerst maar eens pinterest afstruinen voor huwelijkskaart ideetjes uiteindelijk heeft een neverending kaart 4 zijdes dus die moesten allemaal mooi in gevuld worden. Ik wou er ook de nodige symboliek in verwerken en mijn man hielp aardig mee. Ik heb de richting deze keer gewijzigd omdat dit veel beter uitkwam. Dus zo ben ik begonnen met onze mooie teddy beer die ik in blauw en roze heb uitgewerkt en dat moest hun babytijd voorstellen. Vervolgens draai je de kaart en kom je op het stadium dat zij verliefd worden, hier heb ik met heel veel hartjes gewerkt, hartjes die uit twee verschillende harten ponsen komen. Dan draai je verder, en natuurlijk blijven dan twee teksten staan, maar dat was niet erg, daar kon ik dan de felicitatie ook op kwijt en hun initialen. Tot slot laat ik hen de toekomst tegemoet rijden in een zilverkleurige auto. De kaart is 6 bij 6 inch en past perfect in een envelop van 16 bij 16. De envelop heb ik ook nog van hun initialen voorzien en natuurlijk ringen, dit is wel van een ander merk. En om het geheel te presenteren en af te geven, maakte ik er nog een klein rood doosje bij zodat daar het geld in kon. Een kaart waar heel wat uurtjes in kruipen en waar heel veel liefde in zit. De fijne sterretjes vooraan en achteraan komen uit een van de nieuwste stempel sets. Ik ben heel benieuwd om maandag te horen hoe de bruid heeft gereageerd.

When I showed the neverending cards to a colleague this week she asked me if I could make a wedding card, she needed it already this weekend. So that evening I started with my search on Pinterest to see what themes I could use for a wedding as I knew the brides loves red and the wedding card was in sepia brown colours. I wanted to work with some symbols on the whole card and had to fill 4 sides of course. So I started with a blue and pink bear to show them as baby. Then you turn the card and see how they get in love by seeing them as two loving elephants and of course you see a lot of hearts which I punched with two punches. Then you turn further and two textes remain but that is not bad, and there I added the congratulation text for the new Mr and Mrs. Then at the back they are riding into a sunny future. The little stars are from a new stamping set and are embossed. The card is 6 by 6 inch and fits into an envelop of 16 by 16 centimeter. And of course I added the initials and rings on the envelop, the rings are from another brand. To give it to them I added a red box so the money can be put in there. Really a big project and I made it with a lot of love and wow I never used that much stamps and techniques on one project. I am curious to hear what they bride said to it.

Speciaal gevouwen kaart - special fold card

Af en toe hoe ik ervan om iets aparts te proberen. Een aparte vorm maar dan wel eerst met eenvoudige stempels. Deze keer zelfs met design papier dat ik veel te weinig gebruik en wat heel erg mooi is. Het kaartje is uiteindelijk maar 9 bij 9 centimeter groot, dus past in een kleine vierkante envelop. Wordt dicht gehouden door een strik.

Once and awhile I love to try something different. A special form, but then I try to keep it simple and this time I worked with the design paper which I should use more. The card is only 9 by 9 centimeter big/small when folded and tied together with a piece of ribbon.

Kopje koffie - cup of coffee

Af en toe heb je wel eens zin in een kopje koffie en zelfs dat kan je uitwerken op een kaartje. Wie zou hierbij denken aan de curvy keep sake box stans? Kijk maar goed dan kan je in elk geval ontdekken hoe het is opgebouwd. Een eenvoudig labeltje erbij en je hebt een simpel kaartje.

Once and awhile you need a cup of coffee, and even that can be on a card. Just look very good and you can see the curvy keep sake box die I used to make this. A simple label on top and you have a quick card for somebody.

Hardwood meets Watercolor wings

Onlangs had ik niet één geschenkenvelop nodig, maar twee en vermits beide voor dezelfde dame waren, moest ik wel even vindingrijk zijn. Gelukkig waren net de nieuwe stempels binnengekomen en kon ik een achtergrond maken met de Hardwood stempel en daar op een mooie grote vlinder uit de Watercolor wings set. De tekst is uit mijn privé collectie van Nederlandse teksten en blijf ik ideaal vinden om te combineren. Een stukje lint in een groene tint om weer net nog een extra accent te hebben en een vrolijke envelop was geboren.

Recently I needed a gift envelop, not one but two and both for the same lady so I had to make two different ones. Luckily the newest stamps were there. I chose the Hardwood to make the background and the beautiful big butterfly from the Watercolor wings set. The text is from my other collection of dutch textes I love to use. A piece of green ribbon to have another colour accents and another gift envelop was made.

Communie bedankjes - communion gifts

Onlangs kreeg ik de vraag of ik ook communie bedankjes kon maken. Tuurlijk, doch even nadenken hoe of wat. Vermits het voor het Melkhuis was, en ik de kleur groen kreeg om mee te werken, vond ik dieren wel geschikt. Ik maakte verschillende voorbeeldjes en uiteindelijk koos Guus het kleine SU doosje dat ik uitwerkte met de zoo babies. Wat ben ik blij dat SU net nu die mooie komkommer kleur heeft uitgebracht. Het past zo goed bij zijn Tshirt. Dus aan de zijkanten leuke zoo babies en bovenop zijn foto met datum en naam. Benieuwd wat de feestgangers ervan vinden. Als klein geschenkje van mij gaf ik hem nog een grote doos in het groen gevuld met chocolaatjes en natuurlijk met een koe erop. En ook een kaart in een envelopje met natuurlijk ook een koe. Zo bleef ik in stijl.

I got the question if I could make little guest gifts for a little boy who did his communion. So I had to think about it, I got the colour green to work with and made some examples and Guus decided he wanted the little SU boxes with the zoo babies on it. So I did that on the sides an on top I put his picture with name and date. As a little gift from me I made a big box with chocolates in it with the newest gift bag punch board. And with the mini treat bag thinlits I made an envelop for a card. Of course on those things I used a cow from another brand as Guus is living on a farm and I thought that would be very suitable. Curious if everybody will love it. I like it very much.

Bloempot - Flowerpot

Wat is er nu mooier dan iemand die van planten houdt, verrassen met een verjaardagskaartje als ware bloempot? Ik heb hiervoor baked brown sugar cardstock gebruikt, de painted petals en de tekst binnenin komt van een SAB set, voorop staat natuurlijk een van mijn lievelingslabeltjes. Die blijven leuk om te gebruiken. Een lintje houdt het geheel gesloten.

Someone who loves flowers and plants would surely love to receive this birthday card. I used baked brown sugar cardstock, the painted petals and the text inside is from a SAB set and on the front of course one of my favorite labels. A ribbon keeps the card closed.

Scrap project

Onlangs was er een SOL (Scrap on Line) party via Facebook georganiseerd. Ikzelf kon die avond niet rechtstreeks meedoen doch de beschrijving werd in de groep geplaatst en zodoende kon ik later dit scrap projectje maken. Ik koos ervoor om er een vrolijk lente geheel van te maken. Ik koos de kleuren melon mambo en daffodil delight en ging hiermee aan de slag. Het is een soort van vouwboekje waar je drie labels in kwijt kunt met mooie teksten of plaatjes of wat dan ook. Ik heb de mooie grote appelbloesem Indescribable gift gekozen om te stempelen op de voor- en achterkant en die heb ik vervolgens met de blendabilities ingekleurd. Het was een hele klus maar ik ben wel tevreden over het resultaat. In plaats van design papier te gebruiken, opteerde ik voor de Perpetual birthday calendar set om mijn eigen design papier te maken. En de bloem op het label is van de Butterfly basics set. De sluitingen van de flapjes maakte ik met de label love pons. Benieuwd wat jullie hiervan vinden.

Recently there was a SOL (Scrap on Line) party through Facebook. I could not attend that night but the description was posted on the facebook group so I could make it later on. I adored it. I chose spring colours: melon mambo and daffodil delight. I started with the indescribable gift blossom for the front and back of this project. I coloured it with the blendabilities. It was a lot of work but fun to do and I think I am more as satisfied. I did not use design paper but decided to create my own by using the Perpetual birthday calendar set. Inside there is room for three labels where you can add your text or some nice pictures or whatever you want. On one of the labels I stamped the flower from the butterfly basics set. I used the label love punch for the closure of the envelopes. Curious what you think about this project.

Popup kaart lente - Popup card spring

Als voorbereiding voor de workshop midden maart heb ik deze week een lente popup kaart gemaakt, dit op wens van de hostess. Ik koos voor felle kleuren voor de bloemen, doch voor het kaartje zelf eerder een zachte groene tint. Het achtergrond papier heb ik zelf gemaakt, met de Perpetual Birthday Calendar set is dat echt heel makkelijk en vooral naar eigen wens te maken. Bij lente denk ik aan bloemen, dus de Flowershop en de Petite Petals set werd boven gehaald en een vlinder van de Butterfly basics mocht zeker niet ontbreken. De takjes maakte ik met de vogel pons. Nog een tekst op de voorkant met een stukje lint en dit kaartje kan op termijn naar een jarige.

 As preparation for a workshop middle of March I made a spring popup card this week as it was the wish of the hostess. I chose bright colours for the flowers and a softer green for the card itself. The background paper I made myself and with the Perpetual birthday calendar set it is so easy to do. Just fun, as you can always make it as you want it. When I think of spring, I think of flowers so I chose the Flowershop and Petite Petals to work with and of course a butterfly from the Butterfly basics set. The leaves were made with the bird punch and a text on the front and back and this card can be send to a birthday person after the workshop.

Paars duo - Purple duo

Onlangs kwam Corrie langs om samen te hobbyen en terwijl ik een doosje bekleedde, ging zij ook aan de slag. Zij koos voor het mooie DSP uit de SAB folder, de brayer en wisteria inkt om zo haar eigen mooie DSP te maken. Dit werd dan op Blackberry bliss gekleefd om zo het doosje te bekleden. Een band in hetzelfde kleur met een lintje van wisteria maakten het af. Een klein restje was overgebleven dus dat werd omgetoverd in een mini bijhorend kaartje waar enkel nog een stukje lint, een vlindertje en een tekst aan werden toegevoegd.

Recently Corrie came to craft together. While I finished a box with some flower stamping, she chose the nice DSP from the SAB leaflet, the brayer and wisteria wonder ink to make her own DSP. Then she put everything on the blackberry bliss cardstock to cover the box. A belly band of the same cardstock with a ribbon in Wisteria wonder completed it. As she had a leftover she made a little card in the same colours just adding a piece of ribbon, a butterfly and a text. So lovey.

Gisteren een kaartje gemaakt als voorbereiding voor de SAB workshop in januari. Ik gebruikte hiervoor de nieuwste set met bloemen, het lijken net kleine schilderijtjes. Natuurlijk een vlinder uit een ouder set ingekleurd met markers werd ook gebruikt. En deze keer kozen wij voor de vorm met de scalopped tag topper pons. Zo creëer je een mooie sluiting van je kaart, het enige wat je dan nog nodig hebt, is een stukje touw of lintje. Ik koos voor een groen lintje passend bij het papier.

Yesterday I made a card as preparation for the SAB workshop in January. I used the newest set with flowers where you can make little paintings with it. Of course a butterfly from an older set coloured with markers was used too. And this time I used the scalopped tag topper punch to create the special form of the card. The only thing you need then is a piece of cotton or ribbon. I chose for a green ribbon which fitted with the paper.

Reizen - travelling

Of het nu een verjaardag is of voor iemand die graag reist, onderstaande kamerschermen zijn hier geschikt voor. Ik werkte met de Traveller set voor de bruine kaart en de kaart met tempting turquoise werd uitgewerkt met de Open Sea set, ook een heel geschikt set voor een dergelijke kaart. Ikzelf vind het blauwe wel leuker dan de zuiver bruine, doch ik wou ook laten zien dat kleur op kleur ook best kan. Voor de rest heb ik het heel eenvoudig gehouden, enkel een stukje touw op de bovenste kaart.

A birthday or a card for someone who loves to travel, it is both possible. I worked with the Traveller set in the brown card and the card with tempting turquoise cardstock is with the Open sea set. Both are different, both are suitable for men too. 

Paars kamerscherm - purple screen card

Het lijkt wel of wij met zijn allen momenteel bezeten zijn van kamerscherm kaarten, misschien is het ook wel zo, in elk geval heeft Matty ook een prachtig voorbeeld voor de workshop bij haar en in Westdorpe gemaakt. Zij koos voor paarse tinten en werkte met de Four feathers, de Labels en de mooie grote I Love Lace stempel. De restjes van de uitgeponste pootjes van de kaart heeft zij op een wel heel goede manier verwerkt in de kaart. Het is zelfs mogelijk om hier geld achter te stoppen of een tegoed bon. Zij heeft bovenop de twee vakjes waar iets achter geschoven kan worden, twee bloemetjes van klei geplaatst.

It looks like we are all obsessed with making screen cards, perhaps it is the case. At least also Matty made a very nice example for a workshop at her place and in Westdorpe. She chose to work with purple colours and worked with the Four feathers, the Labels and the big stamp I love lace. The leftovers from the feet of the card are used on the card itself and behind the two where she put a clay flower on, you can put some money or a voucher. Really clever.

Kinderkaarten - Children cards

Soms hebben wij wel eens nood aan kinderkaarten, de zoo babies set leent zich hier heel goed voor. Je kunt er vrolijke kaarten mee maken en dit in diverse kleurschakeringen. Ik koos hier voor slechts een paar kleurtjes die ik dan ook nog eens omdraaide. Op die manier heb je twee verschillende kaarten doch eigenlijk gelijken ze wel op elkaar. De diertjes heb ik met een ronde pons uitgeponst en deze vervolgens op een Label verhoogd opgekleefd met dimensionals. Met een embossing folder creëerde ik de achtergrond en een stukje lint achter het label met de tekst maakt het af.

Sometimes we need children cards, the Zoo babies set is very suitable for this. You can make cheerful cards with it in different colours. I chose to work with only a few colours which I switched on either card. In that way you have two different ones which are in some way also similar. The animals I punched out with a round punch and put on the Label with a dimensional. With the embossing folder decorative dots I created the background and a piece of ribbon behind the label finishes the card.

Driehoekdoosjes - triangle boxes

Voor de gezondheids- en welzijnsmarkt had Matty ook een aantal mooie driehoekdoosjes gemaakt. Zij hield ze heel eenvoudig, gebruikte wel de label love pons en de label love set.

For the healthmarket Matty made some nice triangle boxes. She kept them simple only used the label love punch and the label love stamp set.

Leeftijd ... Age

Ja, ik hoor het jullie denken, dergelijke kaarten hebben wij toch al gezien? Ja, dat klopt, ik vind het gewoon heerlijk om ze steeds weer in nieuwe combinaties, nieuwe kleurschakeringen en met een andere tekst tot een prachtige kaart om te toveren. Deze keer koos ik voor een iets andere tekst daar de kaarten voor mijn schoonvader zijn en deze dus echt wel een Nederlandse tekst wou.

Yes I know what you all are thinking, we have seen such type of cards. Yes that is right, I love the way of building up such cards, they are lovely in any shade of colours. I love to combine different colour schemes. And this time I used a Dutch text as my father-in-law needed Dutch cards.

Mosaic just for you

De mosaic madness set heb ik deze keer verwerkt bovenop de modern mosaic embossing. Ik heb de kaart eenvoudig gehouden, een witte kaart met daarop in twee kleuren (mossy meadow en tangelo twist) de mosaic stukjes geplaatst en natuurlijk eentje met een dimensional iets hoger gekleefd. Een stukje lint in dezelfde kleur en een labeltje en deze kaart kan ook weer op reis naar een ver land voor een swap.

The mosaic madness set in combination with the modern mosaic embossing is always nice. I kept this card simple just used some white cardstock with two colours (mossy meadow and tangelo twist). The mosaic pieces are stamped in those colours and just one of them has a dimensional underneath it. A piece of ribbon and a nice label and the card was ready to travel to a foreign country as a swap.

Beileid - condoleance

Naast verjaardags- en geboortekaarten had ik ook een bestelling van een aantal rouwkaarten meegenomen tijdens onze vakantie in Oostenrijk. Natuurlijk hoort hierop dan een Duitse tekst. Ik heb voor de basiskaart de nieuwste paarse kleur genomen blackberry bliss in combinatie met DSP in de kleur wisteria. De bloemen zijn natuurlijk gemaakt met de Petite Petals en het takje in mossy meadow komt uit het stempelset Summer silhouettes. Met de label love pons heb ik de tekst uitgeponst en aan de rand lichtjes wat beinkt en met dimensionals verhoogd opgkleefd. Op de bloemen heb ik candy dots geplaatst. Ja, ook een condoleance kaart kan heel mooi en stijlvol zijn.

Besides birthday and babycards I have an order for some condoleance cards which I took with me from my holiday in Austria. So of course I needed to take some German textes. For the basis of the card I used the newest colour blackberry bliss and the DSP wisteria. The flowers are of course the Petite Petals and the leaves are from the set Summer Silhouettes and stamped with mossy meadow green. I used some candy dots for the flowers and the textes is punched with the label love punch and I used some ink on the borders.

Reizen per trein - Travelling per train

Onlangs plaatste ik een kaart met een schip uit de Traveler set, deze keer dus hetzelfde set doch met een paar andere leuke stempels hieruit namelijk de trein, het fototoestel en de wereldbol. De ene keer uitgewerkt in natural ivory in combi met chocolate chips, de andere keer lost lagoon en chocolate chips kleuren. Beide combinaties hebben hun charme en beide zijn ook nu weer heel geschikt als mannenkaart. 

Recently I showed you a card with a ship from the Traveler set, this time I used some other stamps from the same set : the train, the globe and the camera. One card is in the colour chocolate chips and natural ivory, the other one chocolate chips and lost lagoon. The latter one also has a label in these colours. Both combinations are very suitable for a birthday of a man.

Diertjes - animals

Ik hoop dat jullie net zoals ik genoten hebben van de bloghop de afgelopen drie dagen, nu zet ik alles op alles om mijn open dag met de nieuwste spullen van Stampin'Up! voor te bereiden. Twee sets uit de vorige catalogus mochten echter niet ontbreken. De label love en de zoo babies blijven leuk om te gebruiken. Ik heb ze hier als kinderkaart uitgewerkt in de kleuren Hello Honey en Tangelo Twist. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met de decorative dots embossing folder en een lintje in dezelfde kleur als het cardstock vind ik ook heel gescchikt, en jullie?

I hope you all liked the bloghop of the last three days. I sure saw a lot of nice cards and got some inspiration. But for now I will concentrate on my open day with the newest stuff of Stampin'Up! Two sets from the previous catalogue are still there and cute to use so I made a childrens card with it in the colours Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist. The stamping sets are Zoo babies and the label love set in combination with the label love punch. I made the background with the decorative dots embossing folder and used a ribbon in the same colour as the cardstock to finish the card. I love it, hope you too.

Regen - rain

De kleur pool party is echt een mooie kleur, ook Corrie vindt dat blijkbaar. Zij gebruikte dit DSP om deze mooie regenkaart te maken. Hoewel het niet fijn is als wij regen hebben, vind ik de kaart toch echt fleurig en hier ga je echt van glimlachen. Zij vulde het aan met een paar pareltjes om de druppels weer te geven en de labelpons werd gebruikt om een leuk labeltje onderaan te plaatsen.

The colour pool party is really nice, Corrie loves it too. She used this DSP here to make a very nice rainy card. Although we do not love rain, this card really makes me smile. She used little pearls to make the raindrops and the label punch to put a nice text underneath the card.
