Vandaag verjaart mijn pa, dus een ouderwetse kaart met fotostripjes leek mij heel gepast. Het doet mij echt aan onze eerste vakanties denken, toen was alles nog analoog, moest je wachten tot het fotorolletje ontwikkeld was om te zien wat je had vastgelegd.

Today is the birthday of my father so a typical male card with old fashioned picture strips is suitable I think. It reminds me of the past, where we went on holiday and you could only see what you have taken after the strips were developed. Time is really flying and now everything is much easier but not really much better.

Zeemeermin - mermaid

Ik blijf nog even in het zeethema, deze keer een heel grote stempel van een ander merk, met een mooie zeemeermin die ik inkleurde met mijn potloden. Ik gaf haar ook nog wat glitter met de wink of stella, helaas zie je dat op de foto niet zo goed. Ik weet zeker dat dit een leuke kaart wordt voor een jonge dame die van de zee houdt.

 I stay in the sea theme for the moment, this time a stamp form another brand. It is a big mermaid which I colored with my pencils, I gave it some glitter with the wink of Stella too but that is not that visible on the picture. I know this card will be appreciated by a young lady who loves the sea.

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 8)

En dan eindelijk de kaart die ik 20 keer maakte voor mijn collega's. Ja een heel aparte in plaats van de sneeuwvlokken koos ik voor radertjes en ik koos voor groene en bruine tinten omdat ik vooral mannelijke collega's heb en ons logo vooral groen is. Dus binnenin wel nog een rood accentje toegevoegd en vermits we af en toe ook een heftruck gebruiken de tekst daarop gezet. 

And finally you see the card I made about 20 times for my colleagues. Mainly male colleagues so I took the colours brown and green, green is our logo and of course instead of snowflakes you see some gear. And inside a red element and a vehicle which we use once and awhile.

Strand doosje - Beach box

Dit doosje kreeg mijn schoonzus dus ook, zij wou immers kaartjes met de zeemeeuwen, dus ik maakte hiervoor een extra doosje om ze in te bewaren. Ik heb natuurlijk met de mooie shells collecting gewerkt. En het mooie two tone papier kan je aan beide zijden gebruiken en zo krijg je een verloop, de gescheurde randjes geven het dan nog iets meer diepte. De schelpen heb ik nog ingekleurd met potloden.

 This box is what my sister-in-law got too, with the asked cards with the seagulls. The box she can keep of course and the cards send off. I used the shells collecting set. I used the two tone paper to give it the different colors and if you torn the paper you get a white border so it gives you some extra depth. I colored the shells with my pencils.

Hartenkaart - hearts card

Dit hartenkaartje met de charming day bundel in combinatie met de embossing mal met lieveheersbeestjes gebruikt. Ik maakte een grote easelkaart om mijn man er op Valentijnsdag mee te verrassen. De beestjes liggen ook hoger en heb ik nog extra aangezet met de stiften zodat ze kleurrijk verschijnen.

This hearts easel card I made for valentines day to surprise my husband. I used the charming day bundle which I bought recently and the ladybug picnic embossing. They are so cute, they really are embossed and I gave them some extra color with my markers. 

Valentijn kusjes - Valentine kisses

Ik zend jullie vandaag heel veel valentijn kusjes samen met deze lieve beertjes.

Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 7)

En natuurlijk deze wil ik jullie niet onthouden, deze kaart heb ik denk ik ongeveer 30 keer gemaakt voor familie in Nederland en voor mijn kennissen in Oostenrijk. Ik moet zeggen dat de reacties overweldigend waren en daarvan gaat mijn hart smelten. Ik ben heel blij met hoe zacht de kaart is om iedereen een fijne kerst te wensen.

And of course I cannot resist in showing you the one I made about 30 times for my family and people in Austria. I must say the reactions where beyond my expectations and melted my heart. I love how soft the card is to wish them all nice holidays.
