Workshop kaartdoosje resultaat - result

Gisteren kwam Marianne het kaartdoosje met de drie kaartjes en bijpassende enveloppen maken. Zij mocht dit naar eigen keuze van stempels voorzien. Zij koos voor de summer silhouettes om op die manier te leren werken met de stamp-a-ma-jig en paste ook hier de sponstechniek toe. Daarna ging zij met de markers aan de slag om de pleasant poppies en de ganzen in te kleuren. Zij maakte hiermee ook twee heel aparte kaarten. Bij de kaart met de ganzen gebruikte zij zelfs de  masking techniek zodat twee ganzen broederlijk naast elkaar in  het gras staan. Een kaart die ik zeker eens ga casen. En met de kleurtjes die zij thuis ondertussen al gesprokkeld heeft van SU had zij een mooie paarse kaart voor mij gemaakt waarbij zij prachtig kant heeft gebruikt. Yesterday Marianne came to follow a workshop to create a little card box with three small cards and envelop. She made amazing cards, she started with the summer silhouettes set and learned to use the stamp-a-ma-jig and the sponging technique. Then she coloured the stamp of the pleasant poppies and the wetlands with the markers. For the card with the geese she used the masking technique so a couple of geese are nicely standing next to each other in the gras. A card I surely will case once. And as a thank you I received a purple card with lace from her.

SAB Workshop dag Philippine - SAB Workshop day Philippine

Vandaag is het zo ver, de SAB Workshop dag in Philippine vindt plaats. Een dag die Matty, Magda en ik gaan vullen met leuke dingen die wij hebben gemaakt met de spullen uit de nieuwe catalogus in combinatie natuurlijk met de jaarcatalogus. Dit alles om jullie de diversiteit te laten zien, de mogelijkheden te laten ontdekken en jullie een heel gezellige ochtend of middag te bezorgen. Jullie gaan met een leuke kaart naar huis, nieuwe indrukken die jullie hebben opgedaan en natuurlijk de nodige inspiratie voor eigen creaties. Wij hebben er zin in, jullie ook? Hieronder ook nog een aantal collages van de creaties die jullie vandaag te zien zullen krijgen. En natuurlijk de heerlijke traktatie van de hostess mag niet ontbreken.

Today we are having a big SAB workshop day in Philippine together with Matty and Magda. Those two hostesses and myself will fill this day with nice projects we want to show you so you have inspiration what you can do with all the new stuff which is in the spring catalogue. All participants will go home with a very nice card and of course with a little surprise, of course the necessary energy to create nice things with their products. We are looking forward to it, we hope the participants too. Here you see some ideas of the things they will see today, the little treat they get and the little cupcakes the hostess has baked.

Klaprozen - Poppies

De workshop op 22 januari staat helemaal in het teken van de scalloped tag topper pons waarmee wij deze vorm van kaart zullen maken. Matty en ik zijn volop bezig met het maken van voorbeelden dit zowel met nieuwe sets als oudere sets. Deze keer gebruikte ik de pleasant poppies en heb deze ingekleurd met de blendabilities en zelfs twee bloemen iets verhoogd opgekleefd om een 3D effect te verkrijgen. De tekst is van een ander merk, maar past perfect. Benieuwd wat jullie zullen verzinnen.

The workshop on 22 January is working with the scalloped tag topper punch where we will make this type of card. Matty and I are working on examples so you get a good idea what is possible. We use new and older sets. This time I used the pleasant poppies which I coloured with the blendabilities and where I used dimensionals on two flowers to create a 3D effect. The text is from another brand, but fits very well. We are curious what you will think of.

Bundel of klaprozen - Bundle of poppies

De grote klaproos stempel Pleasant poppies is een uitdaging om een kaart mee te verzinnen. Ik hou van eenvoudig dus ik koos ervoor om op crumb cake cardstock de klaprozen in chocolate chips kleur te stempelen en enkel nog een vlinder in dezelfde kleur erbij te voegen. Een design papiertje om het te matten op het early espresso cardstock en het is een kaart die voor veel gelegenheden gebruikt kan worden, zelfs voor een man, of als rouwkaart. Ik heb daarom ook geen tekst toegevoegd zodat ik hem voor verschillende gelegenheden kan inzetten.

The big stamp Pleasant poppies is really a challenge to use it. The stems are very long but I decided not to stamp them completely. I used crumb cake cardstock and stamped with chocolate chips on it, just a butterfly in the same colour, a design paper on the early espresso cardstock and I have a card for different occassions. I can use it for a birthday, even for a man, or as condoleance, so that is why you do not see a sentiment on it, so I still am free to chose what I want to do with it.
