Delft blauw bordje - Delft blue plate

Ergens had ik een leuk voorbeeldje van een ronde kaart gezien en het deed mij denken aan een bordje, dus ik dacht misschien kan ik hier wel een Delft blauw bordje van maken. Welke stempel vind ik daarbij passen? De nieuwe bloesems, die vind ik zo mooi. Dus ik ging aan de slag, niet eenvoudig want ik had drie lagen wit boven elkaar gelijmd en dan daardoor stansen, was net ietsje teveel van het goede. Dan daar achter eenzelfde stuk blauw en dan binnenin een rondje met wit dat niet verhoogd is, zo krijg je echt mooi de diepte erin.

I had seen a nice example of a round card and I thought of a plate and wanted to make a Delft blue plate out of it. I had to think what kind of stamp would suite me, and I love the nieuwe bloesems, I know it is retired but they fit so well. I used the deckled circles for the outside of the plate. I had three layers on top of each other, a bit too much to go through it but I managed. And the inner part sonly one layer.

 

Uitdaging easelkaart - Challenge easel

Recent ontving ik van mijn vriendin Nancy een leuke kaart. Ik had er haar ook eentje gestuurd, wij wilden op die manier elkaar uitdagen. Haar kaart zie je onderaan met de cacao boon, zij werkte met DSP en vele laagjes. Echt haar type kaarten. Tja, dan begon het denkproces bij mij. Ik ging al snel overstag en besloot ook eenzelfde easel te maken met dezelfde stansen voor de opbouw van de kaart. En vermits op mijn tafel de Easter Lilies lagen heb ik deze gebruikt om op die kaart te zetten. Dus mijn laagjes zit hem in de bloem 3D op de kaart zetten met Dimensionals, en een paar fijne takjes achter de tekst. Ik heb net zoals bij haar een paar steentjes toegevoegd. De kaart kan perfect opgestuurd worden, zie de onderste foto waar ik jullie twee kaarten van mij en haar kaart naast elkaar presenteer.

Recently I receive a cute card from my friend Nancy. I send her one too. We challenged each other. She would case mine and I would case hers. Her card is the one with the many layers of DSP and the cacao bean. Really her style of card making. So I had to think a lot what to make. As I have the same deckled circles dies, I decided I would make an easel card too. And as the Easter lilies were on my table I decided to use these flowers. So my layers are in the flowers which are 3D on the card with Dimensionals, and of course also some little stones as she added that too. I added some little leaves behind the text too. The card can be send of in a regular square envelop as you can see in the last picture. The one with the bean is hers, mine are the ones with the lilies. Love those flowers.

Vandaag gaan wij weer lekker hoppen met de IDEAS groep, een groep van internationale demonstratices die jullie willen inspireren met hun projecten en die hiervoor allemaal een tutorial hebben gemaakt.

Vermits het nog winter is koos ik voor de Beary cute bundel en heb de stempels gebruikt in combinatie met het mooie DSP en mijn schaar en de deckled circles dies.
