Elke donderdag kerst - Each Thursday Christmas (Week 50)

Af en toe probeer ik wel eens iets nieuws, maar ook vaak grijp ik terug naar patronen waar ik van hou, zoals de schuifkaart. Ik beperkte mij tot een minimum aan kleuren, werkte op Very Vanilla en werkte met Soft Suede en de set Cambride Carols en  Pleasant Pheasants vermits ik aan de ene zijde de herfst, de andere zijde echt de kerst wou laten verschijnen en voorop gewoon een winterstafereel. Ik ben heel tevreden hiermee.

Once and awhile I love to try something new but I also love to take an old model and make a new card with it. This time it is the slider card with very few colors only Very Vanilla and the ink Soft suede and two stamp sets Cambridge Carols and Pleasant Pheasants. I wanted to show the autumn and the Christmas time to come out and on the front I wanted a winter scene. I love it.

Af en toe hou ik wel eens van een uitdaging en ik hou ook van de eenvoud van slechts enkele kleuren dus hier gewerkt op Very vanilla en dat met Soft suède, ik vind dit nog steeds de beste combi. Ik koos ervoor om met de set Pleasant Pheasants een schuifkaart te maken, zodat je je boodschap voor de ontvanger verborgen kunt plaatsen. De set levert alles wat je wenst, met slechts 1 set kan je dus dit kaartje verwezenlijken.

 

Once and awhile I love to try something new and I wanted to make a card with just one stamp set and with few colors. I used the Very vanilla in combination with the Soft suede and I still love that combi. I used the Pleasant pheasants to make a slider card so inside you can put your text for the receiver who will be surprised to find it there.

Thanksgiving

Tijd voor thanksgiving weldra, dus de set Pleasant Pheasants is heel geschikt hiervoor. Het bevat immers een paar prachtige vogels en de mooie tekst. Maar natuurlijk kon ik het niet laten om er ook andere teksten bij te zetten zodat ik de kaarten kan gebruiken voor diverse gelegenheden.

Soon it will be Thanksgiving and the set Pleasant pheasants is very suitable for this as it has some very nice birds and the text. But of course one can add other texts too so it can be used for various occasions, always handy to have a few cards in the house.
